Counselling for Adults

A space to talk openly, understand yourself better and find a way forward.

People come to counselling for many different reasons. You may be experiencing anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, grief or loss. Perhaps you're finding relationships difficult, navigating a life transition, or feeling overwhelmed, unhappy or stuck without quite knowing why.

I work with adults facing a wide range of difficulties, including burnout, relationship and family challenges, and the impact of difficult or traumatic experiences.

How we can work together

Sometimes the difficulties we experience are connected to what's happening in our lives today. At other times, earlier experiences, important relationships or long-established ways of coping can play a part.

In our work together, we can explore these connections, understand the feelings and responses that arise, and consider how they affect your relationships, choices and everyday life.

My work is inclusive and trauma-informed, recognising that everyone's experiences and circumstances are different. We might focus on managing difficult emotions, developing confidence and self-worth, navigating changes in relationships or understanding patterns that seem to keep repeating.

The aim is to help you make sense of your experiences, develop a better understanding of yourself and find ways forward that feel right for you.
